Unlike ordinary silks, this fabric combines the smooth softness of satin with the durability and wrinkle-resistance of Shuang Zhou weaving, offering a fabric that is both luxurious and practical for modern wear.
The surface bears its signature irregular crackle patterns, a living texture created by the dyeing process, giving the silk a supple yet structured hand. One side reveals a lacquer-like black sheen, while the reverse glows with a warm golden hue — a duality that lends the piece its vintage character and quiet drama.
The skirt’s design celebrates this dual-toned beauty: the hem is cut from both sides of the silk, creating a color-blocked composition that shifts naturally as you move.
